Tarragon is founded by Michael Corliss, and Valley South Corporate Park starts, becoming Tarragon’s first project and step into the industrial market.
Valley South Corporate Park is named NAIOPWA’s Industrial Development of the Year.
Lakeland Town Center opens, providing much-needed goods and services to the Lakeland residents and creating a walkable, social hub for the community.
Tarragon starts to develop Kent Station, which would eventually become a contemporary, open-air urban village that serves as a community gathering place, a dynamic shopping experience, a place to dine, relax, learn, and celebrate.
Completion of Valley South Corporate Park, the pioneering effort that created the Sumner Industrial District. It is an award-winning industrial design with state-of-art amenities and over two million square feet, comprised of 12 buildings.
Completion of Michael’s NW Distribution Center at Centralia North Corporate Park.
Sunrise Village is completed in Puyallup, WA.
Boxcar, Tarragon’s first podium project in Seattle, is completed in South Lake Union at the heart of the newly formed Amazon District.
Tarragon opens their first residential amenity package at Four Lakes that includes a clubhouse, three-seasons room, and spa, raising the bar on all future projects and promoting a sense of community for all residents.
Tarragon embarked on Salmon Creek Corporate Park after a three-year hiatus from industrial work. The result was a 267,000 SF Class-A Industrial warehouse.
Tarragon’s first multi-phased residential project, Sawyer Trail, began. This started the six-year process to build the project.
Dwell Apartments, the final phase of the 15-year Kent Station project, is completed.
Lakeland Commons II is completed as Tarragon continues to improve upon its overall design vision that was started over 15 years prior.
Tarragon partners with Mary’s Place to help address the community’s homelessness crisis by donating their site at 701 Valley to serve as a shelter and provide a safe place for families in need.
2019 was Tarragon’s most significant push into residential development, with the delivery of over 500 units at The Main, Glacier Run, and Sawyer Trail.
The first construction activity begins on Uplands, a 320-acre, multi-phase residential community in Pierce County.

Tarragon inked a lease with Nordstrom and broke ground on over 900,000 SF of building at SeaPORT.
Delivery of 198 units at Camber and Haven Apartments in Kitsap County.
Completed 1.2 Million SF of industrial buildings and moved four tenants into 3 different buildings at SeaPORT Logistics Center.
We successfully procured permits and commenced construction on 149 Lots at Uplands, our Master Planned Community in Puyallup.
Construction at Tilden Apartment in Lacey started with our clubhouse receiving TCO at the end of the year. Move-in’s start in Spring of 2024!
At SeaPORT Logistics Center, Building 5 was 100% leased to Allen Distribution within three months of completion. Their 293,000 SF lease at SeaPORT is their first venture into Washington’s industrial market. At SeaPORT Building 7, Tarragon navigated the final stages of a highly complex entitlement, collaborating with four government agencies.
